서울아산병원 심장병원과 (재)심장혈관연구재단 주관으로 오는 2014년 8월 8일(금), 9일(토) 양일간 그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 서울 파르나스 호텔에서 제 4회 TAVI SUMMIT 2014 국제학술회의가 개최됩니다.
본 학회는 최근 빠르게 성장하고 있는 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) 분야의 국내외 저명한 선생님들을 모시고, 라이브 케이스 시연 및 강의 등의 주요 프로그램을 통해 대동맥판막 협착치료에 대한 최신 술기 및 실제 임상 노하우를 나누는 유익한 교육의 장이 될 것입니다.
아시아 국가들에서는 서구 국가들과 비교하여 체형과 원인질환의 차이로 인하여 차별화된 TAVI의 적응증 및 치료 기법들이 개발되어야 합니다.
이번 학회로 TAVI 가 국내 및 아시아 국가들에서 성공적인 치료로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 도움이 되었으면 합니다. 또한 앞으로 기초적인 지식과 술기의 보급뿐만 아니라 아시아인들에게 맞는 맞춤형 치료를 개발하는 학회로 발전시켜나갈 계획입니다. 이에 선생님들의 많은 참여 부탁 드립니다.
